"The hotel is actually connected to the railway station which is excellent if travelling by train. We loved our stay. The heating was broken in our room. We were offered a different room but decided to accept the offer of a heater intead. Only one issue regards breakfast. There was no option for vegetarian sausages was part of the main buffet. Also there was only one egg option which was fried. To order scrambled eggs would have incurred a whole breakfast upgrade. A bit disappointing so may not...

"Enjoyed my two-night stay at The Alan. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. Bed and sofa both really comfortable. There were some ups and downs with the service - breakfast on our first day was borderline shambolic, though on day two it was great. Our room was not properly cleaned (bed was made but tea/coffee not replenished and bins not emptied). This was made worse by their ‘WhatsApp the reception desk’ concept where we then asked for the tea/coffee to be replenished, were told...

"I am so happy that this hotel exists - now a go to first choice hotel whenever I’m in the city. The room is spacious and the service was excellent. They put customers in a high regards. I went to the fitness area and while it is small it is clean with all the equipment you need when you want to get moving. Furthermore the bar looked excellent and had a range of options which I appreciated. Based on location I find that it is so conveniently placed with a range of parking options. Wish I took...
