"Stayed 2 nights here in a room with the private bathroom. It very well exceeded my expectations. Easy check in, kind staff, lovely bar. The locks/handles were confusing at first but I learned very fast! Location was great for me, I like being tucked away.. town is only about 7 min away. I was able to catch the northern lights here which was AMAZING. There’s plenty of parking but it can fill up quick at night even then I found a close spot so I have zero complaints. 10/10. "The staff was so helpful and nice and for traveling from America it was nice that they knew English. Convenient with buses come to the building and have loads of atractions you can choose to do. Definitely recommend for any solo women, I had a mixed dorm and I left my things on my bed, super safe and chill. "

"Clear information to check in at puffin hotel. Nice, friendly staff. Great for one night stop overs which is what we did. Very comfy beds with lovely pillows and quilts. "It's a very small room, but Iceland is expensive and this is a great deal for the price. The bathroom on our floor was clean and provided shampoo and soap. It's a 10-minute walk from old town city central, which is fabulous. Extremely safe area. The front desk staff were kind, friendly, and super helpful. There is a laundry room in the building (they give you free laundry detergent and let you use the machines for free -- literally, I'm not kidding), and they have lockers you can rent for...

"No one there to meet you. Had to call a number and the guy tells hou what room to go to. We had two rooms, both were already occupied. Tried to call back but no one woukd pick up. We left and found another hitel close by luckily. "
