"We have two students at Texas A&M Galveston and this was our first chance to meet them in Galveston around the holidays. We decided on a VRBO vice hotel to save money and we were not disappointed. The house was clean had all the amenities and was easy enough to find. Our only small issues that will not prevent us from using this property again was no counter space in the bathrooms and the windows were a little loose in their frames so when the wind blew the windows rattled. "We utilized the space for a Ladies Weekend getaway. Friday night we noticed right away there were roaches in the kitchen as we began to start cooking. We only noticed them in the kitchen. Everyone slept in the main house area because the Downstairs room that has the 6 bunk beds, was full of mosquitos and the only access to the room was by outside stairs, at night, the lighting was a bit dim for this too, so if your group is drinking, be careful. "Super spacious home on a beautiful canal. The house was a little worn down but it was what we needed for a quick getaway. We rented a gold cart and the beach was a quick drive away! Plenty of parking, we fished off the deck (with the correct fishing license), the balcony was super relaxing and peaceful."
