"Lovely property with exceptional views, close to town of Soufriere, friendly and accommodating staff. The road in to the property was a little bumpy and rocky but still definitely accessible. Good sized room with comfortable bed and nice kitchen area. Roosters were a little noisy! We would stay there again."

"Amazing vews! Accommodations are basic but clean and comfortable, absolute bargain for the location!"

"It was a great location, easy to find, and peaceful. It is just up the hill from Soufriere. Resort has amazing views and friendly staff. The restaurant serves great food. Cottage was nice and bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend you have a rental car. Some of the property grounds were run down but staff was working on that while we were there."

"Another amazing visit. Vinel, Sorin, Gregory, Daelisha (sp), Mike, Garvin, George were all kind, professional and responsive even when I extended my stay. Great view, customer service, delicious food and secluded location. In the future, I’d love a cleaner pool, extra towels and little amenities such as a dust pan and brown and extra garbage bags for the kitchen. Would definitely suggest this spot over a resort. "

"The Jade Mountain Resort is spectacular. My wife and I stayed in one of the sanctuary suites and it was unbelievable. The view of the Piton Mountains and Caribbean is breathtaking. The service and food is top notch. There are many activities like scuba and sailing. Fyi. there are no elevators. The resort is built on the side of a mountain. You must be able to handle a lot of stairs. I highly recommend this resort hotel. "

"Overall I would recommend this property if you are like me and don’t do resorts and all inclusive. The studio apartment worked well for me and had an excellent view. Clean and comfortable with a functional kitchen should you want to dine in. There was a bit of a drive to and from the airport however I was met by a gentleman who I came to appreciate as he was very helpful and looked out for me during my stay. Best holiday apartment we’ve stayed in!

"Roger and Alicia’s apartment was perfect! It was spacious, finished to a high standard and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.Roger and Alicia were absolutely brilliant hosts, they live upstairs so are on hand if you need anything. Roger met us outside when we arrived at night and gave us a tour of the apartment. The next morning, Alicia came down to check if we needed any help putting together an itinerary for our stay/booking restaurant reservations etc. She had some great recommendations - we had a wonderful meal at Island Chef! Above all, they are both really lovely people who make you feel so welcome (and gave us some great life advice).In terms of location, the apartment is in a quiet residential area which is a 15 minute walk from the waterfront and 5 minute’s walk from the supermarket.In the apartment itself, I liked having access to a washing machine (bring your own liquid detergent), and the jacuzzi was much needed after we had hiked up Grand Piton! We loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings admiring the view of the Piton at sunset, and then looking at the stars.The shared pool is much bigger than the pictures show, and is cleaned every day. The bedroom had air conditioning and kitchen area has a fan which helped to keep us cool.This is one of the best holiday apartments we’ve ever stayed in, in terms of location, amenities and hosts. We’d recommend to our family and friends and hopefully we’ll be back one day. :) "

"Very comfortable apartment located in a small street on the outskirts of Soufriere. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything that we needed. The host, Lucy, lives upstairs and was available if we needed her. She was very helpful in the lead up to our stay, providing details of a good taxi service to arrange the transfer from the airport."

"Fond Doux Resort is an absolute gem and we enjoyed it so much more than anticipated! From the moment I arrived, I felt surrounded by the most beautiful, untouched nature. The sounds of birds, tree frogs, and rustling leaves were constant companions, making it feel like I was truly immersed in the rainforest. Everywhere I turned, there were towering trees, colorful flowers, and fruit hanging from branches—it felt so alive and vibrant. We stayed in the cottage furthest away, which meant walking through the forest and up a series of stairs to get there. At first, we thought it might get tiring, but honestly, it was magical every single time. I found myself wishing I could do that walk every day—again and again—because it made me feel so connected to the nature around me. Our cottage was so private, and so many birds came to visit, almost like they were just as curious about us as we were about them! We also loved spending time at the pool, soaking in the beautiful views and just enjoying the peacefulness of the resort. I was truly so sad to leave. In fact, before checking out, I even walked back up to our cottage one last time, just to see it again and take in the moment. If you love nature, the sounds of the rainforest and want an authentic St. Lucian experience, Fond Doux is the place to be!! I absolutely loved my stay and I shall cherish my time there. Thank you!! "

Very modern apartment, outstanding views

"This property was very clearly recently updated. It has a great little kitchen/dining area, bedroom is not huge but it's really nice, great bathroom (there was an issue with the shower drain while I was there, which the owner promptly worked to fix once I informed them), and the view from the balcony is just amazing - probably one of the best views in Soufriere.It's up quite a few stairs (something to consider if you have mobility issues, it's definitely not wheelchair accessible either). Jahan was very responsive during my stay - she can recommend things to do, and help with a taxi if you need.I would stay here again."
