"This place was amazing. We traveled with two children (4 &7). I think this place is undersold. It feels like a private escape. There are 2 other houses inside the little gated community, but you can't see them from inside. The view was unreal. We had rainbows several mornings (only rained at night during our trip in March). Kids loved the pool, beach was great.We just blindly followed all the recommendations from owner (Danielle). Her list of contacts are all amazing people. 1. First, Noelita, the house manager, is amazing. She was there for easy check-in/out. Plus, we had her cook us dinner one night. My kids, who can be picky at times, devoured her meal. 2. The black sand (semi) private beach is amazing. During our stay here, I saw somebody on it once. While it's probably not a snorkeling area, our kids and I loved swimming and relaxing on the beach. The waves roll in here, so it's not flat kids enjoyed the waves.3. Get a boat from Junior. We had a blast on a full-day snorkeling, fishing, relax trip. They customize the tour for you.4. We rented a car from Abnel. He is amazing and his prices are fair. He met us at our hotel, and we met his team at the airport for dropoff. Driving is an adventure. So, if you are ok with super tight turns and British side-of-the-road driving.... buckle up and go!We drove the volcano one day with the kids. Kids loved it and it was way cooler than I expected. The volcano is active, and the mud bath was fun. Go early, avoid tour vans! "

"if you like peace and quite this is the spot. the views are amazing. going to sleep listening to the waves crash...priceless. the property is not perfect but who cares. its small stuff... the floors and the deck need to be updated. and the exterior could use a pressure wash. but the house was great. We loved our stay and did not want to leave. "

"Our family of 5 stayed at Maison des Etoiles for 2 nights (kids age 3, 5, 8). The house is amazing! The views, the open air, the staff - so peaceful and relaxing, truly special. My favorite part was the master bedroom and waking up looking out to the Petit Piton - so magical. Only caveat for little kids: you do need to keep a close eye on them as building codes in St Lucia are not as strict. Mary was wonderfully welcoming and cooked a tasty meal for us on arrival day. Pious was so helpful and drove us around on our day out. We hope to be back soon!"

"Satori House is a beautiful property! We selected it because of the beautiful photos online and the description of the four separate king-bedroom suites as we had 4 couples travelling, and the property was even more spectacular in person! Lucy and Gibbs are phenomenal to work with - extremely friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend booking Chef Fabian for an on-site meal which was an amazing culinary experience! Snow, the house dog, makes you feel at home. He was around when we needed him to walk us down the trail to the beach, and he would come back later to get us when he knew it was time to get out of the sun. The layout of open-air kitchen and infinity pool were perfect for late afternoon fun, and the rooftop patio proved a must for sipping cocktails and watching the sunsets. We will definitely be back!"
