"This villa is located in a prime location with magnificent views of the piton and ocean. It’s up on a ridge surrounded by floral gardens, with visits from lizards and birds. The patio was perfect place to relax with a zen-like atmosphere. We spent 75% of our time there playing games, relaxing and eating. The pool is secluded and private, with refreshing water. The rooms are open air with screens over shutters. As expected, mosquitos are present. But the fans, peppermint oil, and nets did help prevent bites. Breakfast was prepared by Tamara with an assortment of delicious seasonal fruits, eggs made to order, smoothies and anything else requested. We had dinner prepared several nights, which were delicious creole dishes. Tamara and Cletus went above and beyond as hosts, making us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Best warm and friendly hosts we’ve ever experienced. Would go back!Rent a car and you can drive to the beautiful Anise Mamín (our favorite is this one and secluded beach next to it) and Sugar beach if desired (not as great as advertised). Right below the house (2min walk) is project chocolate, which has a wide variety of food, alcohol and coffee to enjoy. The botanical gardens and Jurassic trail were some of the highlights of our visit. There are about 4-5 restaurants at resorts nearby (all within a 10 min beautiful walking distance) that offer great food as well. The sulfur springs are NOT walkable (all steep downhill), but you can park for free or have driver. "

"Staying here was a dream. We stayed in a cottage, up in the hills, set all the way back in the rainforest. It was quiet, romantic, and tranquil. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the entire trip. Our cab and shuttle drivers were amazing and informed us of the history of St. Lucia as we drove. The resort offers a free shuttle to Sugar Beach, which has a section of chairs you can pay for or a section for free (first come basis). The dining options at Fond Doux were delicious, fresh, and used local ingredients. We really enjoyed the cuisine. The pools on the property were great. One of them has an outdoor area with a wall of books. Another, newer pool, has tables and a beautiful view of the rainforest. Overall, we were so happy with our experience and would absolutely come back to stay in the future."

"Secluded property on the small plantation. More than a hundred yes old, but Very well maintained. People who manage and work on the farm are amazing, very polite, knowledgable about the property and the surrounding nature. There is no AC, but none is needed since it’s actually gets pretty cold, at night, due to the altitude, and we are in the dry season now. Breakfast ($25pp) or/and dinner($45pp) can be requested and is very fulfilling. You can pick grapefruits, oranges, lemons straight from the trees around the house. "

"Cute little place in the mountains, not far from all the things you want to do and see like hiking, snorkeling, visiting the hot springs and mud baths, in addition to enjoying the town of Soufriere. The hosts were so accommodating, providing us with eggs and the some of the fruits from their land. It was so wonderful to be immersed in the culture and experience a bit of the real St Lucia. "
