"Amazing view-perfect location-close to island attractions & our favorite restaurant, Brigand’s Hideaway. But Tamara, the property mgr & her husband, Cletus. made the experience amazing. Tamara arranged-a Jeep to be waiting for us at the villa when we arrived, for the driver to stop at a grocery on the way to the villa from the airport, a ½ day boat tour from Soufriere (15min from villa), a taxi from Soufriere to Anse Chastanet & Mamin Beaches (driving there is not recommended for tourists-it’s steep, narrow, & bumpy & is difficult to meet another vehicle), & a driver to the airport the day we left. She also gave great advice regarding best times to go to nearby attractions to avoid cruise ship crowds. Cletus secured lunch reservations & a day at Sugar Beach when there were fewer cruise ships, & drove all of us into Soufriere to the farmer’s market on Saturday morning. Such warm, welcoming people. who went above & beyond for us. An honor to have met them. I must mention her delicious breakfasts with new (to us) fruit nearly every morning & smoothies! She even cooked up some christophine au gratin for us to try! Delicious! Lisa, the housekeeper & Dwayne, the gardener were sweet as well! Mud baths are right next door, but take Tamara’s advice - go late in the day! There were only a handful of people when we went! Other reviews mentioned bugs, but they really weren’t too bad, just don’t forget bug spray! I highly recommend a visit to Hermitage Jewel! You’ll love the experience! "

"Amazing resort set in the side of. Mountain. Beautifully maintained grounds and rooms/cottages. Hiking trails, pools, a chocolate factory all on-site. We had a hotel room. It had a front patio, refrigerator, large shower w hot water--all super clean. The restaurant was good, but pricey. Staff was very helpful and we wanted for nothing. We would definitely stay here again."

"Secluded property on the small plantation. More than a hundred yes old, but Very well maintained. People who manage and work on the farm are amazing, very polite, knowledgable about the property and the surrounding nature. There is no AC, but none is needed since it’s actually gets pretty cold, at night, due to the altitude, and we are in the dry season now. Breakfast ($25pp) or/and dinner($45pp) can be requested and is very fulfilling. You can pick grapefruits, oranges, lemons straight from the trees around the house. "

"Cute little place in the mountains, not far from all the things you want to do and see like hiking, snorkeling, visiting the hot springs and mud baths, in addition to enjoying the town of Soufriere. The hosts were so accommodating, providing us with eggs and the some of the fruits from their land. It was so wonderful to be immersed in the culture and experience a bit of the real St Lucia. "
