"We are so happy we booked Lumiere. What an amazing spot and we want to go back.For our trip, we rented a car from UVF. The drive is a bit hairy but we managed. The host offers to figure out drives if that’s what you prefer. Took us a bit over 2 hours. There is a grocery store right at the last roundabout before you head toward Vigie. It’s only about a 3 min drive away. The property itself is secluded, secure and close enough to amenities and restaurants that you don’t feel so far away. The proximity to the smaller airport and the large cruise port was initially concerning, but like previous reviewers commented, it actually became a source of entertainment. We loved watching all of the catamarans, boats, small planes going by. Don’t be discouraged by this! You’ll love it and still feel like you’re in your own private spot. Property is tastefully decorated, loads of space and the view is unmatched. We spent most of our time enjoying coffee down on the lower deck or relaxing in the pool.There isn’t a sandy beach on this property but there is water access. The water is so warm and my husband loved to snorkel. Vigie beach is so close if you want some white sand. All of the towels, kitchen amenities, pool floaties, snorkelling gear are there. The only thing I would have liked was an extra blanket. Bed and pillows are otherwise very comfortable. View from your morning wake is spectacular.Communication with owner Chad and host Dayna was easy and friendly. Book this place!! "

"Wonderful hotel with the best set of staff I have ever come across. Maybe the rooms, which were kept spotless by housekeeping, could maybe benefit from a little TLC but we only used ours for sleeping and getting ready so not really a problem. Do not hesitate to book!"

"We enjoyed our two weeks at this villa. It lists a private pool, leading us to think it was a stand alone villa when in fact there are three villas on the property sharing the pool. However, the property was very clean with very prompt and responsive owners. View is fantastic. The kitchen needs more dishes and utensils, but overall, it was a very nice stay."
