"Incredible and unique experience to stay at this property! It was VERY VERY cold though (mid Feb). No real heating aside from space heaters dispersed around the temple. We are Canadians and used to the cold and at times it was uncomfortable. Despite this, we’d stay again. "We had an amazing time at this Ryokan - traditional Japanses hotel. We had a junior suite, so spacious, itcwas so relaxing. Buffet breakfast, good selection was included. We had kimonos, socks and shoes in room and traditional sweets in room everyday with an explanation of their origin. Would recommend the teahouse evening with tea house tour. Walking takes 30 mins to castle and centre."

"This was my favorite stay out of all of my accomodations in Japan even if I was only there for a day (wish I stayed longer!).
