"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. Going there during the Sakura season was amazing too. "

"Convenient to tokaname station. Decent sized rooms. Only real cons were that if you have a longer stay, there is no garbage collection and noisy guests in the other rooms. Comfortable and clean place to stay"

"This was a fabulously beautiful ryokan With wonderful service, beautiful rooms that were large and with an ocean view. The staff speak adequate English. From the moment you walk in the lobby a sense of peace and serenity surrounds you.The onsen was on the top floor in some beautiful rock garden ledges with a great view. You could not find a more peaceful and pleasant place. We had one meal there which was a really nice, tasty omekasa.The only problem with it for someone not from Japan or who...

"裏手は海岸。客室からもオーシャンビュー。客室にユニットバスついてるけど4階に共同浴場もあってそこもオーシャンビュー。名前にゲストハウスと付いてるけど個室でその辺のビジネスホテルよりしかりしてる。駅から2キロ弱だけど送迎あり。コンビニやスーパーは離れてるけどレンタルサイクルもあるので散歩したり買い物に出かけられる。ロケーションもサービスもバッチリでゲストハウスのようなアットホームさもあって最高でした。本当にありがとうございました。"

The hotel is also within walking distance to a convenience shop (Lawson), restaurants and the Osu Shopping Street! "We were a family with young children and stayed for 4 nights. The hotel itself is great - the size and amenities available (they have a whole range of baby items and other handy items that you can request for FOC) is unbeatable in Japan. However, the location of the property itself is in a seedy area, amidst rows of very colorful nightclubs. On the first night, we were awoken at 2am by a fight but otherwise we got back by 8.30pm every night and never felt unsafe."
