"This was an excellent value for the money location with big rooms, kitchen, bathroom ….. the biggest room so far we have stayed in during our vacation in Japan. I would highly recommend it for the location only a block or two from the train station, close walking distance to restaurants and unique shops. The beds are very comfortable although I don’t care for the pillows so I have been sleeping on the throw pillows. Unfortunately I picked up a nasty virus and have spent the last three days convalescing in the room. So disappointing but at least I’m comfortable."

"We stayed at the hotel for one night, as we needed a place to stay while visiting Shirakawa. It was much nicer than we expected. We were at the hotel at the end of April, which I think is off-season, so the hotel was quite empty. I assume it is much busier during the touristic seasons, with more opportunities to enjoy the surrounding nature and the activities offered by the resort. We did use the onsen, and it was very nice. We also liked the included dinner. The hotel provides a shuttle, but we didn't use it as we had a rental car. The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating."

"A must place to visit in Japan. Great ambience, delicious breakfast and dinner. Hot springs tub in private outdoors. Great place to hike with amazing view of small town from the top. Lots of gift shops and snack stores. Restaurants had long wait list. Air was clean, weather was perfect for T-shirt wear. During rain, there was a mist floating in the mountains. Love this place!!"
