"Self check in was fine — there were 2 staff available to assist. The room has a small fridge, tub, Alexa, TV. The location is just steps from the train station. There is an iron and microwave available on each floor. Breakfast was fine: a rice ball with Monaka, some pickles, and tea or coffee hot or cold, Other items available for purchase. I would stay here again. The value for the price is fantastic. The lockers will only fit a carryon size suitcase but there are larger lockers...

"If you want a very quiet remote place to stay with great views of Lake Ashi and Mt Fuji this is the place to stay. The bus station is a 5 min walk if that. "

"Great Ryokan, make sure you plan you travel from the station as limited taxis. Buses are regular but full of Gaijin with massive suit cases who are not always respectful of the locals. The Onsen and view of Fuji San is incredible. Food is very high end Japanese so make sure you understand this. Staff are very nice and helpful and speak English but do try and speak Japanese you are in Japan after all. 10/10 "

"The onsen Ryoken is a famous one in Japan as the Japanese Emperors had stayed at the estate for a few times. We stayed at a room with private onsen which is excellent. The food was also great and we had a great time."
