"The house is spacious with plenty do within the home. Our large family gathered here this winter to celebrate a late Christmas together. Some of our disappointments included- The entire downstairs of the house had a difficult time heating up and staying warm. The upstairs was plenty warm. We were surprised to find some holes in the walls upstairs. The dishwashers worked, however the doors and drawers inside were broken. The bathroom in the downstairs had a clogged toilet that we were unable to unclog. In one of the bathrooms connected to the bedroom upstairs, the bath tub/shower would not drain, it seemed to take hours for the water do drain, in that same bathroom the toilet continued to run. We worked on the float/plunger several different times during our stay but it continued to randomly run. The toilet brush in this bathroom was completely filthy with dirty substances in the brush bristles. The floors throughout the house were not completely cleaned- there was sand, dust and hairs in spots around the house. The walls and ceilings (especially in the bedrooms) had dust and cobwebs around. The rugs through out the home were in great need of vacuuming/cleaning and washing. We washed one rug from the kitchen due to a spill and there was a significant difference in cleanliness when we placed it next to a matching rug. We appreciate being able to have a large home to make memories in, we would have appreciated better cleaning/maintenance around the house."

"Our group, the White Lake Area Climate Action Council enjoyed your space for our steering committee retreat. It was perfect for four people. We enjoyed the intimacy of the space and the wooded setting. We even ventured for a walk in the 15 degree temps. Lovely spot. Thank-you!"

"Other than the pool being outdoors, it was great. Restaurant ON SITE for dinner so we didn't have to worry about finding somewhere to eat and the food was great. They have games available for guests, a sitting area with puzzles, fitness center and even a little store area to purchase snack, beer, wine etc. Quick/easy check-in with complimentary cooks and extremely friendly staff. Room was large and very comfortable."

"This space was exactly as described, and right on Lake Michigan. Everything in the home was clean, in great shape, and comfortable. There's a bit of a drop to the lake, but the stairs that seem to be newly installed are sturdy and easy. Internet speed was good and the outdoor space was wonderful. A bit secluded from the main road, which once you know the driveway, is very nice. "

"Our family was very pleased with our stay at the Eagles nest. It was a very warm & cozy cabin with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed walking down to the beach with a cup of coffee & our dogs. Lots of memories made and our kids were asking when we could come back and sad to leave. It was my husband and sons first time hunting too so the Eagles Nest will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommend this place and they communicated wonderfully. Thank you for being an amazing host!"
