"The room had excellent facilities, was attractively furnished in keeping with an historic building and village and spacious. Staff were kind and considerate and thoughtful, much appreciatrd as we are in 80s. Menu allowed for variety of choice, food well presented. Highly recommend New Flying Horse to.all and commend owners for such a high class. well run business at reasonable price "

"The Five Bells is a charming Inn in an idyllic setting. It lived up to all expectations and the exceptional facilities and staff made our two night stay very memorable. The breakfast included in the price was absolutely fantastic and so filling we didn’t need to eat anything for lunch! The room was beautifully quirky with an open fire at the foot of the bed and a large bath tub next to it. "Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back."

"Accommodation, food, wine choice, staff were all excellent. Our room met our requirements. One small thing that we appreciated was that the bottom sash window had not been painted shut like so many others we've visted. Eastry is an excellent place to park your car and use public transport to visit Deal, Sandwich, Dover and Canterbury relieving the need to drive and find parking"
