"The property's uniqueness was that it's only about 2.5 miles from the city center and has a very private and living-in-the-woods feel. Hence the name Mountain Lodge! The cabins are very old and the owner has done quite a bit to remodel and upgrade them to the best of their ability. Very cozy and will come back pending their availability. "

"We had a cozy night at the Elliot House Inn. This place is an excellent option in the tiny town of Shaver Lake for a cozy winter stay. They had lots of hot drinks available (as well as breakfast options all day!) The room was small but warm and comfortable. We’ll be back! "
