"To begin with the oven wasnā€™t working and after many calls and a few hours we were able to get into the electric box to flip it on. The rental company does not provide cleaning supplies due to their policy because it is poison. Thatā€™s what the proper manager told us. So the kitchen cabinets were filled with house feces and all we had to clean it with was dish soap. Also, the coffee pot had mold and old coffee grinds. Again nothing to clean with. They knew this on Wednesday night and we stayed...

"We loved our stay at this wonderful cabin. The rooms were large, light and airy. We were able to spread out or all be together whenever we wanted. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. And the balconies, deck and porch were great. It was a long way down from the cabin to the dock, but the walkway and stairs made for a relatively easy workout. It rained much more than we would have liked, but the kids and grandkids loved jumping off the platform on the dock and floating around...

"Our whole family stayed at this home over the holidays and it was perfect for us. It is well appointed with almost everything you need to cook and serve large meals - it even has a double oven. It was also very nicely decorated for the holidays giving it a very homey feel. Communication with the property manager was great - we had an urgent request at one point and they were quick to respond even though it was a holiday. "

"Overall fantastic experience, the location was great, the views were beautiful. Plenty of room to sleep a large group. Getting on and off the dock was a little primitive but adequate. Gangplank was a loose set of boards that needed adjusted after moderate boat traffic. Dryer was an older model and took a few cycles to dry a load of clothes. Would definitely book it again."

"Perfect! Owner was awesome and incredibly responsive. The house was immaculate and ideal for us. Wish we could have enjoyed the fire pit too but we were able to stay high and dry and cozy in the house and avoid the torrential downpours. There is even a nice covered area to get to the carport from the house. Neat historical home close to everything and we were honored to be the first VRBO customer. Thank you for a great experience.
