"You won't get a better location for a stay in York. Overlooks York Minster and is on the very edge of York City centre. The accommodation itself is very York, with plenty of room and exceptional value for money. I've stayed at a few places in York, including The Grand and when I return I'll be coming back here. "

"York is always amazing. The weather was hit and miss. However the Exhibition was a wonderful place to stay, relax and enjoy a tipple or two. Luke was always there to help if we needed anything and the rest of the staff treated us like they had known us forever. Breakfast was included in our stay and they never let us down. Nothing was to much for them. Cant wait till we can book again xx"

"Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation. "Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."
