"We were incredibly well looked after by all the staff we met there. We had told them my husband had mobility issues and we had a room just nearby reception and the dining area, making access really easy. They had also given us a room with 2 comfy chairs which myself, and especially my husband, really appreciated after travelling. There was a great selection of choices at breakfast, with staff replacing items as soon as they were needed. The Mercure is a great base to explore the local area, we were able to really rest and relax. We will definitely be visiting again!"

"Beautiful classic hotel that is grand in all aspects not just name. Aside from the opulent surroundings, the service was excellent - responsive and helpful staff. The breakfast (the only meal I had at the hotel) was absolutely outstanding. Super comfortable bed and room also - two nights of great sleep even though I don't normally sleep well away from home. Will be back with the whole family! "
