"We’ve used this hotel for about 17 yrs and it’s always been quiet, with attentive staff, and very clean. The only thing I would comment on for this stay is that there was a very strong electric air freshener on in the room when we arrived, which was not good for me as I have allergies. It was soon switched off and the window opened for proper fresh air!"

"Bathroom shower tiles could do with more attention to cleaning. Otherwise, pleasant stay and welcoming staff and owners. The room we stayed in was at the back of the property and and you could hear downstairs occupants early early AM which did disturb our sleep. However, the B&B was a pleasent stay Its located within a 20 min walk to the Old Town and central shopping areas. 5 mins walk from the pier. Local.corner shops too. "

"We had a really wonderful time at The New Inn! The location was perfect - right in the middle of Winchelsea which is a quiet, beautiful little town, but only a 5/10 minute drive to Rye. The room was lovely and really comfortable - one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in! The food was great, and the staff were really lovely and helpful.
