"Excelent option in Florence at a very good price compared with other similar options. The manager was very helpfull and gave us his telephone number so he was available 24 hours a day. The place is beautiful and located in the center of Florence in a very nice place with good restaurants and shops at a walking distance. The room was very clean and very spacious for european standards. I will look to stay here if ever coming back to Florence. "

"After a long search for stays in Florence, we landed on AdAstra. The name means “to the stars” in Latin which caught my attention, and it checked a couple of our boxes, having a large bathtub and being situated south of the Arno. We weren’t quite sure that we’d have access to a terrace, but we did (in the Exclusive Double Room), and it was so lovely. We enjoyed absolutely everything about our stay, from the breakfast (continental and can get repetitive but is included in the stay, fresh, and includes cappuccino or whatever coffee drink you’d like) to the extraordinarily helpful staff, who were willing to help with everything (including dinner reservations). The property itself is beautiful beyond words and a mix of classic Florentine architecture and modern decor. There are books everywhere to pique your interest, in the room and common area. The area is relatively quiet and surrounded by lovely neighborhood restaurants; we ate at one restaurant in the more touristy area north of the river and decided that we would not do that again! We were always pleased to return to our little sanctuary after exploring Florence and Tuscany during the day. This place is simply amazing and I would absolutely stay again. Thanks AdAstra team for making our vacation unforgettable!"

"One of our most memorable hotel stays ever. Further away from major sights in Florence but still walkable, and best views of Florence anywhere, including from our windows, almost feels as if you could reach out with your hand and touch the Duomo. Most under-rated hotel in Florence, only a few guests there during our trip during low season in January, but this made it feel like our own private villa. 700 year old building, creaky furniture and floors adds to its charm. Make sure to take the cooking class! "

"Was checked in by a lovely lady who made us aware of our VIP status and amenities with it. The hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage when we checked out so we could explore before heading to the train station. They were also kind enough to ask about arranging a taxi for pick up to take us to the train station. "
