"Front desk staff was great, breakfast was great. Beds were not very comfortable but we were able to request slightly softer pillows to replace the flat, hard ones we had on our beds when we arrived. Note that if your room faces the street, there is noise at night. The courtyard was nice but there is no pool- just a jacuzzi. We wrongly assumed from pictures that it was a pool. Location is good for walking around the city. "

"We (myself and young adult children) chose this hotel because of its location to the train station which was super easy to get to. Our room was overlooking the square which was perfect for us but if you want quiet it might not be ideal for you. Also, there’s a few stairs to get to that area of the hotel which could be difficult for older travelers. We walked to everything from the hotel. The location couldn’t have been better. Would stay here again for sure. "

"Everything about this hotel is great, with the exception of $42 city tax on top of the total I prepaid through Expedia. Expedia should have included all charges to the price. So this surprise extra charge is on Expedia, who did NOT disclose this beforehand . Tourists, please be aware: what you see is not what you will pay ! "

"Second stay at this beautiful property! Lovely rooftop breakfast each day and on a quiet street. Convenient to the train station - about a 10-15 minute walk and 20-30 minute taxi to airport. Historical area is walkable or a short taxi away."

"We, a family of 4 from Seattle, had just a short 24 hour stay in Florence. We worked it in between multi-day stays in Rome and Venice. Glad we did it, v.s. doing Rome-to-Venice train and an extra day in one or the other. Staying in this hotel's Presidential suite really added to the experience. The photos don't do it justice. It was like staying in a palace. Super high fresco ceilings. Kids got a completely separate bedroom off to the side. Overall, a great boutique hotel: * 10 min walk...
