"Very pleased with our stay, restaurants were good and the buffet was good as well! Pools and pool Area were kept clean. We brought our own tubes for the lazy river, and we would recommend doing that if you want to spend a full day there. We found the best place to lounge was at the lazy river, the area was nice and quiet with many shaded and uncovered areas. Danny at the pool bar in the lazy river was amazing! He made so many delicious “virgin” cocktails for our daughter and he was always very pleasant! We didn’t make it to the beach but the beach proper didn’t really look like a place we would swim, cove looked way better but I don’t think there was chairs, not the best resort for beach experience I would say. But, so many pool options and bars around the pools that it wasn’t a huge loss to not be at the beach! Staff were all very friendly and you could see the commitment of the hotel to having English speaking workers out front and the majority of the staff speak at least a little bit if not a good amount! We got roped into a presentation, didn’t buy but it really actually seemed like a great deal if we were in the market for what they were selling. Gaspar was so pleasant during our sales meeting, didn’t pressure us, just presented the information allowing us to make an informed decision. Rooms were clean and serviced at least once daily. Air conditioning in the room was decent, not great, decent. Noise control in the room was great. Overall great, will return!"

"First time visit to the Finest Punta Cana and it exceeded expectations. Service was great, attention to detail with its design and architecture, great food options, plenty to do with kids, easy App with everything on the resort like times, dress codes, and more. This was a great experience and we will certainly be back for more. Definitely recommend the Club rooms. Staff is very friendly and the entire resort is very well maintained and clean. The kids club offered everything our kids needed to enjoy their stay and this resort offers baby sitting. Highly recommend! "

"This was our second visit to this property - but the first since it was taken over by Wyndham. It did not disappoint. The property is absolutely stunning. We lucked out - there were probably less than 200 guests on the property while we were there. The pros: *The staff is so kind and respectful. Always so helpful. Shout out to Ana in the VIP concierge and Pedro from the Activities team. *The property is immaculate and gorgeous. *The rooms are a good size - beds are super comfy. *Price is hard to beat. The cons: *Food was ok. Not great. *Not sure the club upgrade is worth the money. *Disappointing that there was a charge for wine other than house wine. While the hard liquor, beer, and basic wine was free, if you wanted anything else you had to buy a bottle. *Sometimes it felt a bit like there was always an "upsell". We went to the spa, and they were pushing their products on us afterwards. A little upsetting when you've already spent $250. Will we go back? Probably. Hint: Don't rely on public taxis. We booked a driver ahead of time through the hotel. They were waiting for us at the airport and were courteous, good drivers."

"Everything from check-in to check out was perfection. Most especially the entertainment staff and the gym. Over the top accommodating. They made us feel like family. Food was delicious, different food for everyone’s liking. Enough chairs by the pool. We were even given popsicles! on a tray, on a very hot day sitting by the pool! Over the top perfection in every department. Clean and well kept. Grounds were stunning. I felt very safe and secure, gated community. "

"If you want to feel like a multimillionaire for less than $4k go to the Excellence El-Carmen. They really took care of us. This was by far the best experience. They truly lived up to their name. Food: Delicious Drinks: flowing freely Service: Impeccable Rooms and facilities Amazing Beach and View: like a dream. Activities on the grounds: They were good. It wasn’t Vegas, but they gave you something to do that was entertaining and free. I have one complaint: I HAD TO LEAVE!! 😭😭"
