"The view from the terrace is amazing! A wonderful and relaxing place to spend time on Lake Como. The location is very convenient to the ferry in Varenna. "We booked a double room & private bathroom, toiletries, laundry , air conditioning & coffee making facilities. We had to share a bathroom with 2 other apartments , a sofa bed vs a double bed & there were no toiletries & actually no toilet roll, a fan & no air conditioning & no laundry facilities .we also had an issue checking in , initially they had no record of our booking & told us it had been through Expedia ?? We tried to escalate to Hotels.com but they don’t read the emails properly ! "

"The apartment is in a great location, with a lovely view of the lake. It's very convenient for the ferry, and about three minutes' walk to the center of town. (Which is far enough out that you're not disturbed by the church bells.) The furnishings are fairly basic and, as some other reviews note, the bedroom looks out over a main street, so if you're a light sleeper the traffic (and recycling collection in the early morning) may be an issue."
