"You will not find a better location for a private stay than Casa Riva. It is positioned right in the heart of Varenna and is a great launching point for other towns on the lake as well. The bed was very comfortable and we loved waking up to the sound of water every morning. We will be back!"

We got there past the check-in got off time of 8 PM and he kept checking with us to make sure that we could get in and finally he did help us even at 9:30 at night almost close to 10 to help us take our luggage all the way up to the apartment. He made sure that we got dinner before the restaurant was closing. "Charming Stay with Incredible Lake Views! Lino's Place in Lezzeno was everything we hoped for and more. The apartment is situated in a peaceful, scenic spot with stunning views of Lake Como from the balcony. Waking up to that view every day was a dream. "I will admit that i knew this property had no air conditioning. But, booking for the middle of September, I thought that we would be comfortable at night with open windows. HOWEVER, the street noise is very loud and goes all night!! You cannot sleep with the windows open. Save yourself some misery and restless sleep. The apartment is very cute and in a good location and this problem could be easily resolved for the future by adding some air conditioning!"

"Really nice place, great view. Massive hill to climb. No Ubers, and near impossible to get a taxi. We couldn’t get one until day 3. Unless you rent a car don’t book this place. Getting to and from town and the ferry with luggage is a nightmare without a car. Walking on your own is ok, but takes time and you need to be in shape. "

"Lovely little property 10 minute walk from Bellagio centre. Has all you need as somewhere to rest when exploring Lake Como. As mentioned in other reviews it was a bit damp with evident problems in the past with mould but over wise lovely and don’t let that put you off. Comfy bed and very clean apartment. "

"The place was great. On point to the review online everything in place, clean, lots of free space for big families. Quiet and beautiful view. Amazing owners that helped us a lot in every way we needed. The only downside I think about is the mattress being quite old, older folks with back problems we had a hard time to sleep and wake up. "The location of this property is perfect. It’s in the main plaza and not to far from the water. 12 minute walk to the ferry & train station. However, they have limited office hours which complicates things if you are getting in pretty late. Grabbing the keys from their office and walking another 12 mins to the actual property was pretty inconvenient (especially if you have luggages). The actual property is really nice and small, good for couples. "
