"The home was so charming, but what excited us the most was the location. We were in town for the Dixie Deer Classics. Only a 30 minute drive. It it located at the end of the subdivision with lots of tree's, just like we like!"

"Wow! The sweet, quaint cabin floored us. It was more than we expected, but we are grateful to have experienced something better. We came expecting to have fun and left thinking we must come back for the whole weekend. There is not one complaint we can list. "Our family enjoyed this property with all of its unique indoor and outdoor spaces. In addition to the plentiful space inside, we enjoyed having great sitting areas outside. We are also a cooking family, so we appreciated having a kitchen stocked with pots, pans and tools as well as a gas grill. This enabled us to fix a near-gourmet meal for ourselves as well as friends and family who live nearby. We hope to return to this property in the future."

"This was such a delightful little house with a cute theme! The property was quiet, and the perfect place for my own little mini-writer retreat. I enjoyed hiking at nearby Jordan Lake the first day as much as I enjoyed being shut in due to rain the second. Will definitely stay again! "

"This was such a great getaway for the weekend. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hosts were easy to contact and answered all my questions. Great way to learn about living off grid, showering in an outdoor stall and using a composting toilet. If you need to keep some food cold or frozen I suggest bringing some ice. They provided a small cooler. Overall great experience."

"The property is lovely and many thoughtful items are in place. However, -no comfortable chairs with lights for reading -no picture of the upstairs loft on line -towels not the quality we expect at this price point -as others have said, hanging and storage are inadequate, even a few luggage racks would help -when we arrived the door was not locked, the bathroom hadn't been checked and the dishwasher wasn't empty. -we also didn't have hot water our first three mornings but the owner responded to...

"Cozy cabin in a tranquil setting. Located within a vineyard and on a pond. Outside setting faced the pond and was an excellent place for coffee and evening cocktails. Beautiful location within easy commute to Chapel Hill, Durham, and surrounding area."
