"The apartment is right on the sea and on the west side of the island. This is a prime location because unlike the southern coast that is more touristic it is not affected by sargassum. The water is crystal clear and a few yards from the beach you can find schools of colorful fish. Unfortunately the coral has died but snorkeling is still nice. There are also fishermen in the morning and you can buy fresh fish from them. There is a supermarket with basic necessities nearby and a couple of restaurants. As everywhere else on the island restaurant food prices are very steep. There is also a sports bar just walking distance from the apartment. Buses, including the one to the airport stop nearby and pass on the road behind the apartment. We found them to be convenient and reliable. The ride to Holetown where you can find a larger grocery store and many amenities is short. Halfway to Holetown there is also a fish market (with incredibly steep prices there, too). The ride to the airport is 1 hour but the bus had air conditioning and WiFi and for only Barbados 3.50/person. The only negatives are that the aforementioned road has heavy traffic whose loud noise competes with that of the waves, but at night you mostly hear the waves, which is beautiful. I’m a light sleeper and the traffic did not wake me up but it could be an issue for some. Another minus is that the apartment is a bit tired and in need of a nice coat of paint and some furniture care and maintenance. "

"Great location on the water. There is not an actual beach you can sit at but being on the water was nice. The pool was a huge hit for our family. The local bus was easy to use but remember to have barbados dollars and exact change. Everyone was attentive in communicating throughout our trip. There was a mixup and the door code was never sent to us, which took more time than it should to figure it out. We were supposed to checkin at 3pm, and we were able to get into the house, but the cleaning staff didn't leave til 5pm. We appreciated the spices and coffee for use. Overall, a great place to stay! "

"I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this property/location. View, activities right out the front door, delicious restaurant and phenomenal service. Property on the inside was exactly as pictured same as outside. Road noise was zero bother for us. We hope to be back! Thank you Mike!"

"We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful enough to relax. The home was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed and more. A special thank you to our gracious hostess, Ramona, and the wonderful manager, Andrew, who went above and beyond with thoughtful suggestions that made our trip even more memorable. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again!"

"Property was excellent I'm a shared compound with a pool. Centrally located on the island....great for exploring. Parking for a rented car was no problem. Staff was very responsive. Grocery store very close with good selection and numerous restaurants of all categories within walking dostance"

"House is just as pictures show, located in a quiet neighborhood. Beds very comfortable and AC in bedroom was excellent. Able to open double doors to front porch for breezes without worries and minimal to no bugs. Gate at end of driveway for extra security. We have stayed at a variety of locations in Barbados prior to this home and recommended to owners that a few more amenities were needed which they provided (coffee pot-provided a small 4 cup, blender, hand and bath towels).TV in both living room and bedroom were not functioning properly and they did come out to rectify- could use printed directions.Following items need to be noted:- no light blankets for beds- toaster not fully functional (half of it did not stay down)- one burner on stove not functional- attempt at taking a bath in master resulted in water all over floor- seems to be a leak in system- broken shower holder in master bath- limited kitchen supplies (ie. no spices, not even salt or pepper, sugar, cooking oil, tinfoil, plastic wrap, variety of cooking utensils, storage containers, mixing/ storage bowls)-limited toilet paper to just one roll in each bath, no other paper products (ie paper towels, napkins).These were minor inconveniences as overall our stay at this location was perfect for traveling to the various beaches and sights we liked to visit. We did have a car and did not use mass transit."

"We have just returned from staying 30 nights at this apartment and it totally lives up to the reviews i had previously read on here - 5 plus. The host was very quick to respond to any messages i sent and the housekeeper was attentive and could be contacted easily during our stay. The apartment is modern, clean, spacious and comfortable. With coming for a month, we cooked some meals in, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bed is huge and was so comfortable. The outside patio and seating area was perfect for dining and having a drink while the sun went down. We also enjoyed having a dip in the pool and sunbathing around the pool. The location for us was perfect. There is a small beach over the road with sun lounger rental from Bikini Beach Bar & Grill. They deduct the rental cost off any food and have a great daily Happy hour. The food was also really good. The bus stops are right outside and we used them most days to visit the beautiful beaches. Holetown beach ( great snorkelling), Paynes Bay, Thunder Bay, Speightown on the West coast and Carlisle Bay, Brighton Beach and Worthing beach in the south to name a few of our favourites. Jordans supermarket was a 5 min walk.All in all for us, this apartment was the perfect base to enjoy beautiful Barbados. We will be back "
