The house is absolutely gorgeous, even better than the photos. It has a calming and relaxing vibe and is tastefully furnished. Plenty of space and equipped with everything you need. We had such a lovely family holiday, our first time to Barbados and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Communication with the owner was great. The housekeeper and manager were both very helpful during our stay. We would love to visit again

Wonderful Stay
Mahogany Pod was perfect for our family! The location is great, with easy access to the bus into Hole Town and a short walk to QP Bistro and The Cliff. The property is clean, private and well stocked with dishes and everything you would need should you want to eat in. Emma was an amazing host, with timely communication and she made our arrival to Mahogany Pod easy, comfortable and welcoming. Tamica was warm and friendly, I will miss her. We were sad to leave this home away from home and can’t wait to return. Thank you Emma!

Family vacation
The perfect home and location for our family vacation. Mahogny Pod has everything you need to enjoy Paradise. The beach is great for snorkeling or lazing in the ocean on a float. The views from the house and the upstairs decks and amazing. The owner was a delightful and full of many suggestions to make our trip fun. Five stars all the way around.

A Little Piece of Paradise
Our stay here was remarkable. Being able to hear and see the ocean was so relaxing. We loved being able to walk right onto the beach, snorkel, go for a swim and come back with a rum punch from the fish market. Great location with easy access to a lot of places. Tamika and Emma were extremely helpful and be sure to say hi to Carl, the gardener. We hope to be back next year!

My friends and I reserved “Mahogany Pod” for our annual Girl’s Trip. Emma’s home was beautiful with all the comforts required for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. It was very obvious that the owner has taken a great deal of pride in adding special touches in the decor throughout the home. The staple food items and homemade banana bread she provided was a thoughtful special touch. We especially appreciated Emma and the manager’s assistance with airport transfers, a chef and recommending the best masseur on the island. I would certainly recommend Mahogany Pod to anyone visiting Barbados. A. Fleet

Stunning Beach Front Home
We stayed at Emma & Rays home at Mahogany Bay for our 40th anniversary and it couldn’t have be more wonderful!!! The house and grounds were beautiful. The location was perfect!!! Emma also had supplied us with the necessities for a few days with milk, eggs, bread, coffee and not to forget the amazing chocolate banana bread!!! Tamica the housekeeper was great and always had a smile! Now when visiting Barbados we can’t stay anywhere else!!!! Thank you for the greatest 10 days of happiness ❤️❤️❤️ Peter & Paula

lovely property and setting ,bordering the sea , with all the sounds and sense of nature this brings to visitors . comfortable and understated , easy to feel at home . Privacy within and surprisingly so outside too , as there are some close quarters with neighbouring houses . clever and colourful landscaping and easy access to shopping ,restos and the general goings on . We enjoyed ourselves in every way .

Fabulous stay at Mahogany Pod
Superb house, just as stunning as the photos! The accommodation was beautiful, to a very high standard and well maintained. The evening sunsets from the G&T balconies were fabulous! It was great to walk through the garden straight onto the beach - for a walk, swim or to buy fresh fish next door. The team at the house (property manager, house keeper, groundsmen) were really helpful. Thank you to Emma for making our holiday so memorable, her communication was outstanding. We hope to return to Mahogany Pod again soon!

We had the most amazing stay. Emma you were so helpful in the lead up to our holiday and throughout, helping me to organise a birthday cake for our son and recommending some wonderful restaurants and places to go. Nothing was too much trouble. Your villa was absolutely stunning- we loved it and will return again I am certain. Tamika the housekeeper was lovely as was Emilee the Housemanager. Josh loved the bubbly you sent over for him- such a thoughtful gesture!!! Thank you so much we had a truly wonderful holiday!!!!

West Indies Delight
Amazing, amazing, and some more amazing!! Mahogany Pod was exceptional from A to Z. My family enjoyed every moment of our stay! The property was everything we hoped for and SO much more! The staff helped us with every single detail, and question. They took care of all of us, from 8 to 75 years old. The inside and outside of the property is clean and beautiful. Location, location and location! Everything thing was minutes away walking, bus, and taxi. Most importantly I could watch my three children from the deck playing on the beach and swimming in the ocean. Not only will we be back but for a longer stay! Pure perfection in ALL aspects of this property and the amazing people that make it wonderful. Thank you

Beautiful View
Mahogany Pod is a beautiful property with stunning architecture. The house was very clean and well stocked. The views from every bedroom are stunning! Each room has its own full bathroom and dressing room. The fish market next door is convenient and inexpensive. We went to the upscale restaurants in the area and they were all lovely, but the fresh fish on the grill was certainly a treat. The beach in front of the property is great for snorkeling. If you walk on the beach to the right of the property, you will walk past many hotels. All the beaches are public, so you can utilize these areas to lay out or find swimming areas. The water comes up to the house at high tide and the sound of the ocean is wonderful to hear slapping against the sea wall. Suggestions: Go to Clifton Market in the Limegrove shopping area rather than Massys for food shopping. They have meats and foods that are closer to the comforts of home. They also had lots of gluten free/allergy options. The house is on a busy street. The sound of the street is loud. You can hear it throughout the house, but not when you are on the beach. The resorts are also on this road, so if the noise will bother you, Paynes Bay may not be the area for you. Our vacation was lovely! We very much enjoyed having the plunge pool!! We miss Barbados and the warm weather! Thank you Mahogany Pod for wonderful memories! 💛🇧🇧

Incredible location! Impeccable house!
We loved our stay in this beautiful home! The location is fabulous with direct beach access and close to great restaurants. It has a well-appointed kitchen with 3 ways to make coffee:-) We appreciated the delicious banana bread and other treats. No day was complete without a dip in the plunge pool - very refreshing on a hot day! The bedrooms feature private bathrooms (awesome water pressure!) and balconies where we enjoyed the morning light, hummingbirds and coffee. The sunsets were spectacular! There is a nice yard with a grill and dining table. Also, sun loungers. We appreciated the fantastic list of recommended restaurants and the recommendation to take a catamaran cruise - we went with Silver Moon and it was a fabulous experience! I would be so happy to return to Barbados and this house!

Excellent Birthday Celebration
My family and I stayed here for my birthday. The host was extremely helpful, even before we arrived. She helped with transportation, that we used the entire week. She set us up with the chef, who was amazing! And she provided recommendations on places to go on the island. The accommodations were just as advertised, and we loved that each bedroom had an en suite and balcony. Everyone was comfortable had their own space. The easy access to the beach was just icing on the cake! Thank you Emma.

How relaxed can one be!
Wonderful property right on the beach which feels like your own slice of paradise. Local buses right outside the front of the property to transport you anywhere along the coast. Villa exceptionally maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful home from home decor throughout.

Beautiful Setting
The villa exceeded all of our expectations for our firs-time trip to Barbados. The views were amazing, the villa was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. The owner provided a welcome package of groceries, arranged airport pick-up, and was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend this villa and hope to stay here again in the near future.

The perfect spot to stay in Barbados
The whole booking process was so easy and Emma was incredibly helpful throughout. The property is very well finished and has everything you could need, including weekday visits from Tamika who was just so lovely and kept the place looking immaculate. The house is located right on the beach, which was a fantastic scene to wake up to every day. Easy to get to many other destinations (we rented a car but taxis also very straightforward). We had the best time and would absolutely recommend this place!

Amazing break at Mahogany Pod
We have just arrived home from a wonderful 2 week break at Mahogany Pod. The house is absolutely beautiful. It is spotlessly clean and stylishly furnished. The house has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Dealing with the owner Emma, was very easy and a pleasure. She sent through a great pack of local information. Paulette the lady who came in 5 days a week was lovely and ensured that the house was spick and span for us. Emilee the house manager was very efficient and she was always on hand to deal with any queries. A word out also to Carlos the gardener who keeps the gardens looking so wonderful. Just a few steps across the perfectly manicured gardens and you are on a stunning beach, you can swim, snorkel, pick up boat rides or arrange any motorised or non motorised sports you could wish for. Our favourite thing to do each evening was to sit on the beach with a rum punch in hand, in a deck chair watching the sun go down whilst our boys made sandcastles. Bliss. We even saw turtles swimming off of the beach! There is parking at the property and we hired a jeep to travel the island. There are restaurants/ bars in the area, you can walk to some or others are a short drive or bus ride. We took advantage of the barbecue and ate in most nights. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this house to anyone and hope that we can return again. Thank you Emma and all for such a brilliant holiday.

Paradise!
There are no words that can properly describe Mahogany Pod or Paynes Bay or Barbados. You simply have to go yourself! I can try by saying the villa was definitely 5 star, the owner Emma was amazing from start to finish, Tamica the housekeeper was an absolute joy, and the views, the views, the views - the sea literally lapped the steps at the bottom of the private garden, at 5.45pm every evening we all took our rum punches to stand in the water and gaze for 45 mins at a different sunset every night, speechless at the beauty. If I could go again tomorrow, I would. Plenty of local restaurants, bus stops right outside the property, an amazing fish market next door, Rhiannas place a 5 minute stroll along the beach, it was perfect. Thank you Emma, and thank you beautiful Barbados :))

This lovely, well-maintained seaside home where the sun sets and waves roll onto the beach just outside the garden was exactly what we needed as a winter getaway and met all our expectations.
