"I loved staying at this hotel. The grounds and plantings are gorgeous, the pools feel totally luxurious and all the public spaces feel spacious, clean and elegant. They offer free airport transfers and one can pick up and drop off a rental car right at the hotel, how convenient is that.!!! My room was just fine. I had requested a refrigerator and got one. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious, and I thought great for the price. My granddaughters loved the pools. I plan on staying here again when i have to leave Costa Rica by air. The only complaint is the restaurant ran out of red wine, and 2 of the dishes i wanted to order. The cleaning staff for my room were exceptionally gracious, friendly and kind. I also had a dental problem while i was there and was able to walk to the “Dental Smile Center”, which did a great job helping me. It is also walking distance to a fresh market grocery store, and it was easy to get to downtown San Jose via uber. Yes the hotel is older, but that’s why the plantings are so nice. They even have a garden with a mango tree. The gym is one of the best equipped i have run into in a hotel. So 5 stars"

"Excellent staff! Very helpful. Our flight was cancelled so we booked this last minute and they were able to provide us with shuttle service from the airport within minutes. Upon arrival, we were helped with our bags to our room. Close to airport and a great price for a last minute booking. "

"I got in around midnight after a grueling flight and travel…there is nothing better than a Hilton bed when you really need to relax and recharge before the next adventure. Slept like a baby. Great central location in San Jose to catch your breath or enjoy a couple days in the mountains "

"I’ve stayed here many times, the experience is always excellent. The staff is very professional and accommodating. Especially at the breakfast buffet, they are Muy bien! The property is in a very safe area of San Jose, Escazu. There’s two pools and a fully equipped exercise room. I highly recommend this place. "
