"We found the place easily and Eduardo and Betty were amazing hosts. Betty is a very good cook. We were in a tropical storm so we decided to drive to the coast for a few days. But we enjoyed our vacation. "

The house sits further back from the road than most houses in Costa Rica, but there is still a lot of road noise for someone coming from the United States. "A lovely house between Orosi and Paraiso, overlooking the Orosi Valley. Not far outside Paraiso--Waze took us right there. The house is beautiful and comfortable and very well appointed and supplied. The owner is only onsite part of the time, but is promptly available via WhatsApp. Her onsite assistant doesn't speak English, but we did fine with a little bit of Spanish and WhatsApp with the owner who speaks excellent English. We want to return to Casa Bartzis on a future trip--it's a winner!"
