"Everything was great except the weather. "

"We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway....

"A lovely house between Orosi and Paraiso, overlooking the Orosi Valley. Not far outside Paraiso--Waze took us right there. The house is beautiful and comfortable and very well appointed and supplied. The owner is only onsite part of the time, but is promptly available via WhatsApp. Her onsite assistant doesn't speak English, but we did fine with a little bit of Spanish and WhatsApp with the owner who speaks excellent English. We want to return to Casa Bartzis on a future trip--it's a winner!"

"We had a lovely and peaceful time at Casa Dali. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this cozy home is tucked away behind a secure gate in the heart of Alajuela. The home is fully equipped and excellent for entertaining and having big family dinners. We will love to visit again one day! Thank you!"

"The property is amazing....i can see why its named the 8th wonder of the world. The home is biult right into huge rocks but you dont feel like you are in a cave. Robert has designed this home beautifully and uniquely. I would recommend you take advantage of his culinary skills and have him cook you a meal upon your arrival. It was soooo good....and a lot of food!!!! Pasta...braised ribs...roased artichoke...fresh cheese bread....house salad with home made dressing...shrimp...

"Overall the place was excellent. Communication with the manager was easy and responsive and the place was very clean and spacious. The place seemed very secure and was close to markets. The pool was nice and the house was very well equipped. Very nice for larger groups."
