"Had a pleasant stay here at Posada el Quijote. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and directed us to various areas all around costa rica based on our interests. The pool area has a super nice view. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Gate is locked at night so you have to wait for gate keeper to get back in late. We tipped all the staff when we left for their amazing hospitality. "

"This was a real gem to find and provided an enjoyable place to stay on an unplanned trip to San Jose. Only 4 blocks to the US Embassy/Consulate which was the purpose of our trip. The host was absolutely wonderful and the owner provided excellent advice regarding navigating the area and issues we had to deal with (covid testing, local transportation, etc). "Man sollte sich die Zimmer zeigen lassen und die Matratzen prüfen. Die meisten sind sehr schlecht. Mussten 2 mal umziehen bis es besser war. Das Frühstück war sehr schlicht und könnte bei den Preisen echt besser sein. Personal allerdings sehr freundlich."

"I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! Our favorite place to stay in San Jose.

"We have always enjoyed staying at this property because it is clean, quiet and has the best breakfast in town. We fly in from Oklahoma and often arrive in San Jose late enough we need to spend the night before going to our home on the South Pacific coast. This is a place you can count on being a good quality hotel."
