"We really enjoyed staying at Casa Lum. It is in an excellent location right on one of the main “andadores” in San Cristobal. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were really friendly. They have a small terrace where you can see the sunrise or sunset of the city. The food in the restaurant was good, also if you want more variety there are many restaurants right outside the hotel. "A truly beautiful place that felt very Mexican with lovely local textiles, decor, and wonderful central covered courtyard for breakfasts. All the staff were very helpful and they assisted in arranging two of our best exploration trips in the area. The place is within easy walking distance of the central pedestrian walkways that cross the city and that are central to sites, restaurants, and local markets and artisans. One of the best places we stayed during our month-long trip."

"The first room we were given had mold on the wall and ceiling of the bedroom. The second room had poor wifi reception. Both had comfortable beds. We expected 'free breakfast' but it was only coffee, dry bread, and a few small pieces of fruit. The restaurant/reception area had good wifi but was really cold in the mornings. The location was good - only two blocks from the main central square complex."

"They had a nice garden with parrot which was nice. That was about all the good. We got a room that was big but was cold, dark, humid and dirty the curtains had mold on them and the linens smelled. We asked for another room and the staff acomódate us and the room we got had windows so at least it was not dark nor humid. However it was still dirty the blankets were stained they were supposed to be white but were more yellow in some spots. The hotel and restaurant itself were actually nice but...
