"Excellent, cost effective place to stay in Rovaniemi. This was a fraction of the cost of staying near Santa Claus Village, and only a 10-15 minute drive away. We have a 6 year old and this place was just perfect for us. It was great having a water park, bowling alley, and kids play area all in the same building, and we loved being able to head right outside for cross country skiing. Plus we really liked the grill restaurant for a cheap but crowd pleasing dinner. Couldn’t recommend this enough for families!"

"The accommodation - in this case a superior cabin - was excellent. Very clean comfortable and warm. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the private sauna was a lovely addition and very welcome after being out in very cold weather all day. The kitchenette was useful but would have benefitted from an oven as two small hobs and a microwave limits self-catering options. The staff were all very friendly and helpful We knew Finland is an expensive country before booking but we weren't prepared for just how the tourism industry in Lapland takes unfair advantage of its mostly captive market. Apart from husky safaris, it isn't necessary to pre-book excursions and experiences and you can often walk up and book either for same or next day. NB. Avoid booking experiences with "Lapland Welcome". We had a very bad experience as did others we met."

"Incredible Hotel and service, the rooms were fantastic, and being so close to the look out was great - great sledging with the kids / food was brilliant at the restaurant and the access to Santa Park was ideal. Highly Recommend this place, we stayed in Santa Village for 2 nights and here for a further 2 - was without a doubt best part of the trip. "

"This place is deceptive from the outside.. in a good way! It looks like an old building from the outside, but the insides pleasantly surprised us. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, room/suite was good, clean and decently maintained. Sauna was also pleasant. There is room for improvement to deck up the outside presentation. "
