"The staff were very friendly and helpful at The Millers The quality of the food was good and well presented. The breakfast is freshly cooked and there is a good choice on the menu but only one item can be chosen. There is not an option for cereals, pastries and toast with jam and marmalade. The pub is undergoing a refurbishment but this did not interfere with our stay as it has started on the outside of the building. The location is great, with a car park across the road, and is in easy walking...

"We loved our one night stay at the Windmill! The staff are friendly and helpful and both the pub and rooms are just gorgeous. The place manages to be both light, airy and clean as well as rustic, homely and super cosy. We also had a delicious breakfast in the pub. We'll be back!"

"A good place to stay when visiting Dover. Lots of people use it for the port. We used it to visit the castle and Battke of Britain memorial. Parking is a bit tight in the car park so we used the road. Breakfast is good and food options in the evening also good. Room has everything you need and is cosy. "

"I arrived quite late so did not use the bar of restaurant, however in the morning did find a gorgeous ambience, very Christmassy now to. My room 14 was in stable block, unfortunately fir me i was above the washing machine so between 22:45 & 01:30 my sleep was broken each time it hut a spin cycle with a loud tapping from corner of the room. "Very friendly, comfortable,and clean. Recently refurbished with up to date essentials but not loosing the 17th century feel. That is well preserved.Good size Showers and bath (not all rooms had a bath). Many local customers relaxing and chatting, and friendly show its popularity and give it a lovely atmosphere of "the good old days". Loved it."

"Great pub with unique rooms. Very welcoming staff and included breakfast was excellent with cooked options. We also ate in the restaurant and again the food was great. Lovely walk down to Bewl water from pub as well. Really enjoyed our stay."

"We had a really wonderful time at The New Inn! The location was perfect - right in the middle of Winchelsea which is a quiet, beautiful little town, but only a 5/10 minute drive to Rye. The room was lovely and really comfortable - one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in! The food was great, and the staff were really lovely and helpful. All in all a fantastic stay - I'd have no hesitations returning or recommending to a friend :) "

"The house was one of the most unique buildings I've stayed in and this really added to enjoyment of our experience. The host was great at communicating and answering all of our questions before the stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a welcome gift on our arrival. The guest book had plenty of information on things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend this place if you're a big group looking for a place to stay in the Southeast"

"Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "
