The quietness and easy pace of the locale is expressed in the hotel as well. The property is well maintained and the personnel is friendly and effective. The breakfast buffet is really good. "I made reservations to stay at this hotel, and paid in full, over 2 months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm to check in and drop off our bags, they did not have our reservation. I had paper copies, and emails, showing that we had in fact reserved a room. The manager had zero interest in trying to solve the problem and told us he couldn’t help us and there were no rooms available. This was our first day in Europe after an overnight flight from the US. "This is THE HOTEL to stay at if you want stunning views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The entire town of Hohenschwangau and both castles are easily walkable. All restaurants etc. just a perfect hotel in a perfect location! "

"We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return."

"Nice old style hotel. Beautiful and ample rooms in the missile of the city center. Parking was an issue as I was stuck 30 minutes can't get out with zero instruction in English."
