"We had a fabulous stay there, the rooms were well equipped and furnished, very warm & homely, felt newly decorated yet reflected the heritage of the very old building that The Windmill is. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order and was delicious and well presented."

"It was comfortable & room quiet after a long drive. service was reasonable considering the staff were stretched during an afternoon party. People were generally pleasant and did well. Pity no food on offer on a Sunday night but since it was a central location there was plenty on offer locally."

"Great pub with unique rooms. Very welcoming staff and included breakfast was excellent with cooked options. We also ate in the restaurant and again the food was great. Lovely walk down to Bewl water from pub as well. Really enjoyed our stay."

"To sum it up, if you prefer the finer things in life then this is the place for you. Every employee overflows with customers service, I was hand delivered a flat white coffee to my room by whom I believe to have been the Manager. "

"The host is very friendly and it is great to see all their animals."

"Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "
