"We found the hotel quite by chance after our previous booking at Asheville was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the hotel, the location, the staff, the hot tub, the hiking trails, and the trout I had in the Tapoco Tavern was one of the best meals I have had during my time in the US. We live in the UK but will definitely recommend the lodge to our family living in Atlanta and anybody we know visiting North Carolina "

"Our trip to NC was to experience The Tail of the Dragon on our motorcycles. Oh did we get that in spades. 318 curves in 11 miles, everywhere, not just on the 129. The cabin is perfectly situated to enjoy some great driving loops. Loaded with lots of maps and brochures to help you get oriented to enjoy your stay. There was nothing that we wanted for.
