"We are repeat customers. This is probably our 7th or 8th visit. Love the area...great for walks. Love how remote The High Corner Inn is. There seems to be a high staff turnover the past few years however bar and restaurant staff were excellent on this visit and couldn't have been more welcoming. Only two complaints...it has become quite expensive and the food quality is not as good. We all felt that the value for money in terms of food and drinks was not as good as in the past. "The room and general decor was a little tired. Bed and bathroom both excellent, other bedroom furniture needs updating. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, but again the furniture in the restaurant / bar a little tired. Overall a comfortable stay and the price was fair. "If I could rate our stay 10000/10 I would. Staff friendliness and kindness went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was impressive and the bed made us feel like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was lovely as well. Also it’s a 15 minute walk to Burley Village. My cousin and I loved our stay at Moorhill House!"
