"Wecstsyed for one night as we were meeting up with friends in Ramsbottom. Hotel is in a lovely location, within walking distance of the town and a really nice area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent service. The hotel is in need of a refresh really. We had a very old fashioned shower in our room and things just looked 'tired'. However, we only usually stay for one night so ok for us but if staying longer i think the bathroom and rooms need a bit of modernisation. No offence. We had a nice evening and the price was reasonable. "

"All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Parts of the hotel looked a little tired, mainly the carpets but it wouldn't stop us from staying there again. Possible the only negative would be the lack of on site parking. However, there is alternative parking elsewhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"After the pubs and country homes this was a more ‘usual’ hotel experience. Great experience all round although our headboard had seen better days. Superb food. "
