"Absolutely beautiful little rooms in a very sweet village. Perfect location for local weddings. Only Minor thing - some instructions on how to control the heating/aircon would be very helpful- we struggled to get the room to the right temperature!"

"This hotel had beem recommend to us and it did not disappoint. The room (crows nest) was superb, the facilities were spot on and the menu was excellent (festive theme) great value and food was mega tasty. Cant fault our stay at all"

"Highfield house is very close to centre of Skipton. Parking is relatively easy in the area. Our host was available when I called to ask about parking on drive and as she had finished preparing the rooms allowed us to check in then. Very helpful."

"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"This is a hidden gem of a place.Surrounded by beautiful scenery.Its decorated beautifully and the swimming pool and steam room are a haven for relaxation.The Dog and Gun adjoins the hotel and offers a wide variety of meals so there is something for everyone.The landlord Michael is an exceptional host and served our Full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection.All in all i'd recommend this place.We will be back."

"I made a reservation without looking into the reviews. When I arrived and saw it from the outside, the area, the building, the curtains… it felt unsafe. Only then I looked at the reviews and ended up reserving at Holiday Inn Express which was just 10mins away. Just want to make clear that I did not even go inside."

" I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Innovation and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The highlight of my stay was definitely the bed—it was so comfortable! I had an excellent night's sleep, which made a huge difference in how I felt the next day. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed. "Great stay at The Old Stone Trough. Restaurant was too busy on the second night to be able to eat though. However, I believe there is a local eatery close by. Staff very lovely in the restaurant and house staff. "
