"We were delighted to arrive to the Litli Geysir only to find out we were upgraded to the beautiful Hotel Geysir right next-door. We were not told the reason, but we certainly appreciated it. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the shower. We had dinner at the Hotel Geysir, which turned to be as expensive as a one nights stay in a hotel. $200 is pricey to have to send my fish dinner back to the kitchen because it was cold when it was served. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay. Thank you. "

"The property is a typical, warm and friendly country inn, nestled on the outskirts of Thingvellir National Park. It is an easy drive to many amazing natural landmarks including Thingvellir, Silfra Fissure, Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall, Secret Lagoon thermal springs, and much more. The included breakfast was excellent, as was the buffet dinner they offered in their restaurant. We stayed two nights and saw the aurora from the parking lot both nights. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"The staff was really nice. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfasr buffet was really good. I really liked the service they offer, if you would like to see the northern lights, the staff will go knock on your door to let you know so you go outiside. That is a plus I did not get on any other hotel I stayed during my trip in Iceland."
