"This is the definition of a cozy cabin. I absolutely loved my stay here! The host was amazing to work with and replied quickly to all emails I sent her. This is one of my favourite places I've ever stayed at! Highly recommend. The location, the vibes, and the view are all 10/10!"

"The property was absolutely perfect for my group. We had great weather and viewed the northern lights 6 of 7 nights while at the property. Which was awesome saved me from driving to other locations yes the landscape did not change but the views were still amazing. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Iceland. Yes it is a bit of a drive to Reykajavik but the location is great for touring the south coast, golden circle, and areas around the national park."

"Maybe one of our favorite places. Enough space for 5 of us. Very clean and neat and just enough furniture. Great hot tub with views. There were not very many food places nearby but we drove out for dinner. The kitchen was great too if you’d like to cook. Great sleep. Nice windows everywhere. "

"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

"This cabin is a wonderful property. It is very private and feels like a home. We split time between relaxing at the cabin and touring the area. When spending time at the cabin, we didn’t feel as if we were missing anything as we would have if we were in a hotel room. The view from the cabin is beautiful, and the hot tub and sauna are great additions. An added benefit is that the beds are very comfortable. "Just spent a week at the cabin with my family of 4 (kids are 12 and 15). The cabin had everything you’d need for a family trip. Loved having the sauna and hot tub after chilly days seeing the sights. Jon checked in with me right away to make sure we got in ok (we did!). Highly recommend this cabin!"

The interior is very small - perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child - but we did end up putting our suitcases back in the car so we'd have a little more floor space. "From the moment we arrived, our Hagi 2 cabin was a perfect retreat for our stay in Iceland. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was shielded from the wind and beautifully private. There was even a washer/dryer! Robert was a terrific host and anticipated our every need. This is the perfect place from which to explore Iceland."

"Overall great experience. The hosts are very communicative. The villa is clean and super cute. Only drawback is the hot tub only gets to Luke warm. We just couldn’t do it in 30 degree weather. The location is far from the city. This however is perfect if you are trying to see the northern lights. We got a wonderful view from the balcony."
