"Everyone at this hotel was very accommodating. Beautiful rooms with great views. Breakfast was great each morning, and Nicky was a fantastic server going above and beyond. Dinner was also very good. It is outside the central rotoura area and as such most tours won’t pick you up there, but it is a 10 min drive into town and we found it very easy to get an uber quickly, so no issues getting around. "

"Our room had an amazing view of Lake Rotorua. The area is nice and quiet and relaxing. The complementary breakfast was very delicious. Parking was okay, but the driveway was very narrow and only one lane. Overall highly recommended if you really want to stay away from the tourists."

"Room was nice and big. Shelves under bathroom sink need a thorough clean and behind the radiator was quite dusty (I’m asthmatic) but other than that the room was great. The water gets really really hot in the shower but I imagine that the water in the hot springs heats the showers so just something to be aware of especially if you have a baby or young child with you."

"A cute cozy open plan cabin nestled by conifers, eucalyptus, manuka, rhododendron and Walnut.This small settlement has a school and a Pataka (no dairy or shops).Walks to Lake Rerewhakaaitu is 1hr return.A lovely base to explore the Lake district. Rotorua is a 30mn drive away.We stayed for a week with our puppy and daughter.Emma was handy for any questions.Ideal if you're looking for a remote place to disconnect."

"Unique, rustic accommodation in a beautiful rural setting. Very quirky and interesting, lots of 'finds' and reclaimed items, some re-purposed, as in horses bits for toilet roll holder and towel rail! Scott and Shona were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We loved it!"
