"This is a very pretty, instagram able hotel. It is clean and the staff was very nice. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the rooms do not have a deadbolt, chain, or other way for someone inside the room to lock the room so that a hotel employee with a key cannot enter. This is a dealbreaker for me - I would not have stayed here if I had known. The reason is that years ago in another country a hotel employee entered my room with a key and assaulted me. "Very quiet, no sulfur smell. It's right on the lake and you can watch the sun rise every morning. Be aware some of the rooms are actually 2 rooms joined together! They don't advertise this well. I was unpleasantly surprised to find I (traveling solo) had booked 2 hotel rooms! The manager seemed really reluctant to do anything until I escalated my complaints to the owner. "Room was nice and big. Shelves under bathroom sink need a thorough clean and behind the radiator was quite dusty (I’m asthmatic) but other than that the room was great. The water gets really really hot in the shower but I imagine that the water in the hot springs heats the showers so just something to be aware of especially if you have a baby or young child with you."
