"Wow, what a lovely hotel! The location couldn’t be beat - we walked everywhere with the gorgeous lake in front, the gardens to the left, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The free valet parking was easy to use, but we really didn’t need a car. The hotel itself is historic but comfortably luxurious with high ceilings and oozing character. "From the moment we checked in until the time we departed, the staff at Hulbert House paid special attention to our every need. They were friendly, warm and very knowledgeable on local activities and restaurants. Breakfast was outstanding and drinks and snacks were available around-the-clock. "We have rented this house for family vacation. It has very nice location, it's clean, spacious and comfortable. Very nice outside deck with comfortable outdoor furniture. The only thing that prevents us from giving 5 stars are the bathrooms - they were OK but could use an update."
