"Last minute grab for a job, and they had the place I need. A room with no AC though there is a fan for circulation. Large fold up cot was firm and comfortable. There are two full function bsthrooms so taking a good shower was not a problem. A great last minute value, I left rested and refreshed."

I have to say, this experience exceeded all my expectations: (online) communication with Margie was pleasant, precise, and prompt; surprising number amenities were included; location was central and accessible; accommodations were very well-maintained, clean, hospitable, safe and quiet. "We arrived to a old and small house, not a "hotel". It is like a hostel with rooms rented out to young party animals. We were told we had to pay the hotel directly and not through expedia. The bathroom and kitchen were so dirty that we did not feel clean in the rooms either so we slept with our clothes on. From 3 in the morning until 6 in the morning the other men renting were drunk and yelling all night long. The yelling started again at 9 in the morning. They rented a bedroom to a tleast 4-5...

"I came from Florida to Toronto on a solo trip. When I arrived here I had to wait 20 min to get access to my room because I was never sent instructions. I was told to use the key pad, which was finicky and then a guy saw me struggling so he helped and was actually able to push the door open. It was not even locked. (I told the owner this and no response- not safe!) I packed enough clothes to last me a few days because it clearly states under the amenities that you can do laundry during your stay....

" so at this property I attempted to check in on June 30th and was unable to do so after prepaying something in the neighbourhood of 900 American dollars and when I asked about getting a refund as I was unable to check in due to the property owner not allowing me access I was refused my refund being told that the hotel's cancellation policy did not allow for it let's not forget that I did not check check in"
