"Be ready for a time share pitch. While the ocean view is beautiful the property has very few full ocean views, which IMO is 180 degrees, their full ocean view is between 90 and 120 degrees. Staff is all very friendly."

"I had a few hiccups with my stay but you get what you pay for I guess. I have my DND sign on the door and the hotel staff insistent on waking me up every morning by banging on my door insesently for me to tell them no service. "

"The room was typical older mexican style but very clean, functional with good a/c. The grounds were beautifuly kept with a manucured botanical garden that I enjoyed everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to say thank you to Carlos for all his help. He was the best!"

"Hotel suites Mar Elena was clean, well kept, and the service was excellent. They are still working on their breakfast options so the only thing I would say is that don’t expect too much for breakfast. It is very simple. This does reflect on the cost and if a reasonably priced hotel is what you need this is a great place to stay. It is very central. The grocery store is very close and the bus stop to get pretty much anywhere in PV. Very nice hotel."

"Room and bed were comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for the city, we were expecting much more noise. Breakfast was simple yogurt granola fruit and toast. We thought we would, but never used the pool because it was shady and cold. But very close to the beach and restaurants, even tried the restaurant, Kitty Cat, which I highly recommend! Roof top was enjoyable with a little view of the ocean. Place is a little dated but we assumed this. Was perfectly comfortable and affordable for our needs. "

"We absolutely loved staying at this amazing property. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The maintenance guy was amazing, so sorry I didn't get his name. We had a hot water issue and he resolved it quickly and checked in with us. Getting chairs and an umbrella at the beach wasn't always accessible. My suggestion would be to set up three areas every morning knowing your guests will use them without having to request that service. "

"This property was everything we had expected. We knew it was an older Mexican hotel and that is exactly what we were looking for when we booked. It was very quiet except at night as we had read in reviews you could hear the bars down the hill but this did not affect us. We still slept with the patio doors open. We again read that it did have 100 stairs to climb on your way up from the beach but we just made it part of our day and had no issues. The staff was great answering any questions but we...

"Stunning views and top notch service. Everyone was wonderful from the room staff, bell boys and desk attendants to the personal concierge. Would definitely recommend. Make sure you hit the rooftop bar and pool on the north tower!!"

Romantic Getaway

"Our visit at Villa Armonia was just what you could ask for a couple get away. It felt like the place was for ourself. Very cool place with tons of sitting and hanging out areas to just enjoy the quit atmosfar and the amazing view. with just a few steps you reach the beach with cute local restaurants.Take the boat taxi to different beaches or hike along the cost. It's an amazing adventure. If you want another cool experience , please visit The Restaurant Le Kliff for both a dinner and a different restaurant experience. Thanks Villa Armonia for letting us stay at your beautiful and well maintained place. The Hotel is cooperating with a private airport shuttle , Please connect with Christian , the best chauffor it's safe and a very pleasant ride. "

Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive

"We had an excellent time here as a young group from Canada. Beautiful modern property and lots of staff always around the premises ready to assist. Buffet food is the best I’ve had out of all the resorts I’ve been to in Mexico. Private ocean and 2 pools (although the pools are quite cold). I can’t really think of anything negative about this resort. Rooms are also modern and big. Lots of activities and entertainment throughout the day"
