"The staff was friendly and very helpful when planning tours and other outings. The room was clean and comfortable. Attention to details: enough towel racks, a carafe of filter water was provided for brushing teeth, lots of shelves in bathroom, two luggage racks, laundry service, mini bar, charging ports in several locations in room, extra blankets, robe and slippers."

"Slight problem with the room on arrival, having booked a family room, but we compromised since it was only for a night, and a sofa was made up to suit. Owners couldn’t have been more apologetic or indeed more helpful during our stay. The hotel is a little unusual in that it is made somewhat castle like, with quirky architecture - which incidentally was the reason we booked for the night.
