This hotel was clean and conveniently located on a quiet street in the main part of town, so walking everywhere was easy. The room was spacious and we had a nice balcony that faced the back of the hotel. There was coffee, tea, and snacks available 24/7 and the breakfast was good with eggs made to order. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and the hotel provided beach towels and bags as well as water bottles. The hotel had no elevator so it would not be suitable for someone with limited mobility as the reception was up one flight of stairs and the breakfast area up a second flight. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Puerto Ayora who is okay with stairs.

Beautiful accommodations. Modern yet classic feel. Very clean. Matching robe and slippers was a luxurious touch. Perfect size mini bar and fridge. Amazing breakfast spread with accommodating chef and staff. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL. I felt extremely safe and well taken care of. Highly recommended stay for the solo traveler.

The staff was friendly and very helpful when planning tours and other outings. The room was clean and comfortable. Attention to details: enough towel racks, a carafe of filter water was provided for brushing teeth, lots of shelves in bathroom, two luggage racks, laundry service, mini bar, charging ports in several locations in room, extra blankets, robe and slippers.

One of the finest hotel I stayed so far. The staffs are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathroom are 5 star level hotel while you feel living in your own home. Excellent breakfast!

Check in was quick and easy. Staff are super helpful and informative. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms are clean and quite spacious. There is construction right outside the front door but there are walkways around it. They were super thoughtful and prepared a box meal for my dad who went on a day excursion. The meal was generous in both choice and quantity. It’s walking distance to many areas. They gift you two free water bottles and two reusable bags. Honestly this hotel is quite the gem. They recommended great restaurants and tour operators. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone coming to Santa Cruz island.

Wonderful Stay in the Galápagos – Highly Recommend! We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our trip to the Galápagos. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. They were not only thorough in their service but also incredibly helpful in offering tips on the best places to visit and things to see. Their local insights made our experience even more memorable. The breakfast was a highlight—absolutely stellar, with a variety of delicious options to start the day right. We felt truly taken care of throughout our stay. Our stay at Hotel Cucuve was great! The rooms were very nice and beds comfortable. The breakfast was great too - made to order eggs, fruit, bread, cereal, and other food options, plus juice and delicious coffee, The hotel manager and staff were very helpful and attentive, and they helped with logistics and any needs we had! I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we return to Galapagos.

A Great Stay
Hotel Cucuve was perfect for my 3-night stay on Santa Cruz. The room and bathroom were super spacious and clean and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The location is also super convenient, just a short walk to many attractions on the island. I highly recommend Hotel Cucuve.

We loved everything about Hotel Cucuve! The service is top notch. The beds and bedding so comfortable, slept great every night. The location is perfect, easily walkable to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Loved the terrace that was available for us to use by Bahia Mar. We spent a lot of our downtime there. Loved that they had filtered water available for us to fill our water bottles, saved us a fortune in bottled water! The breakfast was good too, cooked to order eggs every day. Everyone working there was so friendly and accomodating!

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our adventure to the Galapagos- the location was ideal and the property was pristine. The staff was so kind and hospitable- the manager , Ana, made us feel like family, as did all whom we interacted with. We will definitely be returning to this property and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the charming Puerto Ayora !
