"Staff was very nice and helpful. I am handicapped and could not climb the stairs to the 3 bed room I had booked so I paid extra to stay in a single room downstairs which was very convenient. The other 2 people in my party stayed upstairs. Host provided great help in planning and booking excursions. Great breakfast provided. No closet nor frig in room. Not centrally located. I do recommend this hostel."

"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. "This was the most disappointing hotel we have ever booked through hotels.com. The largest concern was the inability to connect with someone when a problem arises, as there was a young girl at the desk unable to assist us and we were unable to reach the owners via email or phone. "The Tortuga bay suite is right by the street so you hear the street noise until about 10:30pm on workdays and about 11:30pm on a Friday. The air conditioner doesn’t work well.
